How it Works

  • Hospice Niagara’s Catch the Ace is an online progressive raffle.
  • Tickets are available online only.
  • You must be in Ontario at the time of purchase.
  • Ticket bundles are: 3 tickets for $10, 10 tickets for $20, and 50 tickets for $50
  • With each ticket order, buyers select an envelope they believe contains the hidden Ace of Spades.
  • At the beginning of the raffle, 52 playing cards are hidden in envelopes.
  • There is no limit to the number of tickets sold for each draw.
  • Tickets are valid for each weekly draw only and are removed before the next weekly draw commences.
  • Weekly ticket sales are split into three portions:
    • 20% for the weekly prize – to each weekly draw winner.
    • 30% for the progressive Catch the Ace jackpot – to the weekly winner whose envelope reveals the Ace of Spades.
    • 50% to Hospice Niagara.

  • Sales deadline is 3:00 p.m. each Thursday. The weekly draw is approximately at 3:00 p.m. every Thursday.
  • The ticket drawn determines the weekly prize winner. Also, the winner’s envelope is opened, and the hidden card revealed.
    • Ace of Spades- If the weekly prize winner’s envelope contains the Ace of Spades, they also win the Catch the Ace Progressive Jackpot – 30% of ticket sales from all weekly draws – and the raffle is concluded.
    • Any Other Card- If the weekly prize winner’s envelope contains any card other than the Ace of Spades – the envelope and card are eliminated from future selection. 30% of weekly ticket sales is added to the Catch the Ace progressive jackpot and sales begin for the next weekly draw.
  • Draw results are posted following the draw at catchtheaceniagara.ca by 3:30 p.m.
  • Weekly draws continue – as above – until the Ace of Spades is caught.

 DON’T FORGET!

  • Buy your tickets every week and try to Catch the Ace of Spades!
  • The progressive jackpot gets larger while your odds of catching the Ace increase.
  • Watch the progressive jackpot grow every week!

GOOD LUCK and THANK YOU for supporting Hospice Niagara!
